Nick Cannon and Eminem, or Marshall Mathers, have a long history of hatred and name-calling, typically revolving around Cannon’s former wife and Eminem’s former girlfriend, Mariah Carey.
Most recently, Eminem dissed Cannon on Fat Joe‘s newest album Family Ties. In “Lord Above,” a song that features both Eminem and Mary J. Blige, the Detroit rapper spits,
“I know me and Mariah didn’t end on a high note, but that other dude’s whipped. That [explitive] got him neutered. Tried to tell him this chick’s a nutjob ‘fore he got his jewels clipped. Almost got my caboose kicked. Fool, quit. You not gon’ do [explitive]. I let her chop my balls off too ‘fore I lost to you, Nick. I should quit watchin’ news clips, yeah. My balls are too big, I should be talkin’ pool ’cause I got scratch, so my pockets full when I’m takin’ shots at you.”

Obviously, Cannon didn’t take too kindly to Eminem’s verse. He returned fire on “The Invitation,” featuring Suge Knight, Hitman Holla, Charlie Clips, and Prince Eazy.
The song opens with Knight speaking directly to Eminem via a prison call,
“Check this out, uh, Eminem, whatever your name is, right. You know, I don’t never do no talkin’, but Nick is family. This is your invitation to prove to everybody else what you’re about. Winner takes all. Eminem’s a [explitive].”
In Cannon’s verse, the Wild’N’Out star takes shots at his drug problem, family, and sexuality,
“Ain’t no comin’ back, that’s a fact. This is the invitation. Told Joe to lean back, don’t get hit with this retaliation. I [explitive] with Crack, but the white boy, he [explitive] with crack, pills, and smack, [explitive] and he ’bout to relapse. Call Kim, somebody get Hailie and that other kid you raisin’ that ain’t even your baby. Took a page out of Drake book, this might get a Grammy. We goin’ back to back ’til you respond on the family. My baby mama killed you off a decade ago. You’re still cryin’ about it, [explitive], now who really the ho? I called Joe to set you up and you fell for the job. Slim won’t show for the video ’cause he terrified of my squad. I heard your chauffeur got a video of you suckin’ a [explitive]. You paid him off, then laid him off, now who really the opp? Suge called me the new ‘Pac, I ain’t no killer, but don’t push me. How the [explitive] y’all got me battlin’ Elvis Pussly?”
Knight ends the song with a long outro calling Eminem out for supposedly running from the consequences of his actions.
