The upcoming Golden Globes award show should be exciting with Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston sitting adjacent to each other, separated only by a few feet.
It isn’t likely that controversy strikes at one of the world’s biggest award ceremonies, and it seems like both Pitt and Aniston let go of any bitter feelings toward each other. Pitt even attended Aniston’s fiftieth birthday party back in February. Both their agents signed off on the seating arrangement.
Pitt and Aniston got married in 2000, but divorced five years later when Pitt met Angelina Jolie on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Pitt decided to marry Jolie after his separation with Aniston, but that relationship didn’t work out either; Pitt and Jolie divorced in 2016.
Pitt is nominated as Cliff Booth in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood for “Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in any Major Motion Picture.”
Aniston is nominated as Alex Levy in Jay Carson’s The Morning Show for “Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Drama.”
