XL Recordings acquired Radiohead’s entire catalog back in 2016, and the recent YouTube release came off the heels of Billboard’s announcement that they will now count YouTube streams when determining certain chart positions. This is likely a strategic move to generate Radiohead hype more than an early Christmas gift.
